What do vinyl cutting, routing and engraving, screen printing, decal creation and mechanical embroidery all have in common? These methods of creating a graphical representation, while very different, all require digital files that have been created in a specific way, for example by using only closed areas with no open lines.
Such images can be created from scratch, of course, in vector illustration applications. However, the good news is that we have added 25,000 of these to the Clipart.com collection. You can click on Vinyl-Ready in the Popular Content box to browse them or select Vinyl Ready from the Media menu to use in conjunction with a keyword search.
You'll find these images are provided in a variety of bitmap and vector formats, while EPS or WMF are the common vector formats employed for this kind of output. You can use them as-is, or modify them in your favorite graphics application, such as Corel DRAW, Adobe Illustrator or Xara Xtreme.
Needless to say, you can also use these illustrations for the usual Web,
print and presentation purposes.
