These rules are here to keep things fair and to give the visitors a certain quality. What sites are listed on Clip-Art.com are ultimately the choice of Clip-Art.com.  We retain the right to refuse to list any site for any reason.
The Rules to get listed:
  • You must have a website with information about or provide free clipart, photos, animations or web graphics that you have the right to redistribute.
  • Your banner and description must be tasteful.
  • Don't use all caps for your site title and description.
  • You must use the approved banners and textlinks from the bannerfarm to link to Clip-Art.com.
  • Your e-mail address must be valid.
  • When editing your account info, the name you give as 'sitename' must be the real name of the site, not a description.
  • Acceptance of a site with pop-up consoles and/or full page exit consoles will be soley dependent on how obtrusive we feel it is. If you use these to generate misleading traffic to Clip-Art.com, your site may be banned, or the value of your traffic reduced.
  • This also applies to sites with other tricks, such as hidden frames, false or circular links, links on anti-cheat doorway pages, blind or misleading links, hits from third-party sites, redirected traffic from password sites, TGP submits, fake ../member/index.html pages, spam email, search engine links, hitbots, banner exchanges using your Clip-Art.com membership code, etc. There must be no links to Clip-art.com on doorway pages. We reward honest sites, especially if they are Clipart.com affiliates, we penalize cheaters.
  • Make sure that your sample picture is working. If the link to your sample picture is dead we probably will ask you to fix it. If you don't take care of this right away, we will remove you from the list.
  • The size of the sample picture only a few kb (as small as possible) and the width/height is max. 88x31.
  • We reserve the right to remove sites from the list at any time, as we see fit.
A few remarks:
  • There are both textlinks and bannerlinks allowed.
  • If you created a new (or changed) textlink or banner, please mail us first and let us approve it.
  • You may use as many links to Clip-Art.com as you want.
